The S³ Smart Solar Storage buffers your solar electricity in a compact but very powerful 6.4kWh lithium batteryinstead of injecting your surplus solar energy into the distribution grid. As soon as your self-generated energy is no longer enough to power your devices, the S³ jumps in. The energy stored in the battery is then fed back into your own electricity grid via the integrated converter. If your battery is empty, the distribution grid will still help out until the next sunny day. Battery storage increases your private energy supply from 30% to 70%.
With the S³ you also increase your independence in the event of a power outage.
Freezer, refrigerator, PC, CH pump, ... continue to function via the integrated emergency power functionality (No-Break).
How much autonomy do I have with a 6.4kWh battery capacity?
In the winter mode (battery always fully charged) and 500W of consumption (e.g. freezer, CH pump and several energy-saving lamps), you’ll have an autonomy of around 10 hours.
Installing the S³ is easy, the system is connected parallel to your electrical installation. The S³ Smart Solar Storage works together with every solar energy converter on the market and is also easy to integrate into existing installations.
Need more storage capacity? Expand the S³ with 2 modules of 3.2kWh to a maximum storage capacity of 12.8kWh. Still not enough? Then just install an extra S³.
The S³ is a smart system and works fully automatically. However, if you wish to monitor your S³ this can be done easily online or via your smartphone.
These days, the themes of energy storageand self-consumption are more relevant than ever. Large-scale projects are regularly announced in the media, but fail to be implemented. By contrast, small-scale energy storage is a reality here and now. End users can already make their contribution to a better environment and save their surplus solar energy during the day, then use it in the evening.

The S³ Smart Solar Storage was developed in order to participate in this sustainable development. Research has shown that an average household consumes only 30% of the solar energy it generates itself. In other words, 70% gets fed into the distribution grid. With the S³ Smart Solar Storage, you’ll reverse these figures: 70% own consumption and 30% injection into the network.
The S³ Plus is the ideal/optimal version for energy storage and self-consumption.
The lithium battery with a service life of a minimum of 6000 cycles does not have to be replaced for the first 10 years. Compared to the AGM battery of the S³ Basic, however, this does represent a higher investment.
The S³ Plus comes standard-equipped with a charger/converter of 3000W, but if desired this can be replaced by a 5000W model. Naturally, this upgrade also has consequences for the battery capacity, which must be increased. This can be done very easily by connecting 1 or 2 extension packs.
Based on the performances of the lithium batteries and the converter/charger, the total system efficiency will amount to around 95%.

- S3p-M5-H4-V.. with 19.2kWh battery capacity
The S³ Basic is the entry-level version in order to get a start with energy storage and self-consumption in a budget-friendly way.
The AGM battery has a limited service life compared to a lithium battery and will have to be replaced several times over the service life of the S³. The substantially lower cost price makes it possible to spread the investment over time.
The S³ Basic comes standard-equipped with a charger/converter of 1600W, but if desired this can be replaced by a 3000W or 5000W model. Naturally, this upgrade also has consequences for the battery capacity, which must be increased.
Based on the performances of the AGM batteries and the converter/charger, the total system efficiency will amount to around 75%.
