The XAWP series of hanging push-button control stations offers a versatile and safe solution for operating overhead cranes, hoists and other mobile equipment in various industrial environments. These control systems are suitable for use in explosive atmospheres classified as zones 1, 2, 21 and 22, meeting the highest safety standards.
The control stations are available with 2, 4, 6 or 8 push buttons, each capable of housing up to three contacts. As standard, the buttons are mechanically interlocked in pairs, preventing simultaneous activation and increasing safety. On request, the control pendants can also be supplied without this mechanical interlock. Additionally, each push button can be equipped with a dual-stage mechanism, enabling two speeds to be operated with a single button (1 contact per speed).
For added flexibility, the control systems can be fitted not only with push buttons, but also with emergency stop, indicator lights or switches, depending on the user’s specific requirements. This customization option makes the pendants even more versatile and suitable for a wide range of applications.
Each control pendant is supplied with a rubber cable gland and a metal suspension hook, while the cable itself is not included, allowing it to be selected to suit the installation.
The XAWP series also offers extensive customization options. For example, two pendants can be linked together, resulting in a system with up to 16 control buttons – ideal for more complex control needs.
