Victron Energy has recently launched the Lithium SuperPack NG. This is the new generation of SuperPack batteries, developed as a direct replacement for lead-acid batteries and earlier SuperPack models, suitable for both new installations and retrofit applications.

The Lithium SuperPack NG combines a built-in BMS with multiple layers of protection and is designed to operate reliably with minimal user intervention. Thanks to its integrated heater, the battery can also be safely charged at sub-zero temperatures. Through the VictronConnect app, users gain insight into system status and configuration settings.

Key features:
  • Multiple protection mechanisms
    • Built-in BMS
    • Bi-directional electronic switch: protects the battery against overcharging, deep discharge, and high temperatures
    • Pressure relief valve
    • External Feedback Signal (EFS): external control signal for additional system protection or automatic charge start at low SoC
  • Continuous high discharge current up to 2C
  • Charging possible below 0°C thanks to integrated heating
  • Monitoring and configuration via VictronConnect
  • Physical on/off switch without removing the battery during long periods of inactivity
  • LED status indication
