The SIMPO 5000i is a more affordable alternative to the well-known SIMPO 5000 PRO. Both are 51.2 V LiFePO4 batteries with a capacity of 5.12 kWh, but they differ in three important areas: charging current, charging temperature and remaining capacity after 10 years.

The SIMPO 5000i Basic is particularly attractive for cost-conscious residential installations with a lower usage profile, where a charging current of 70 A per battery is sufficient and the battery is installed in a frost-free environment. Its capacity after 10 years is 60%, which is comparable to similar products on the market. The SIMPO 5000i is approximately 14% less expensive than the SIMPO 5000.
For applications requiring higher power, more intensive use or installation in colder environments, the SIMPO 5000 PRO remains the more suitable option.
