Victron Energy launches Click & Design, a brand-new online design tool that allows installers and designers to build and simulate a 48 V ESS system step by step. The tool is based on realistic solar production data from the past year and shows how a system would perform in real-world conditions.
Users go through seven clear steps to define the location, basic configuration, AC input, priority and non-priority loads, PV setup, and battery parameters. The tool then calculates system performance hour by hour over a full year. Designs are automatically saved and can be adjusted or duplicated at any time.
Click & Design offers a lot of flexibility. It does not recommend components, but lets users build a system themselves and then see how much energy is required from solar production or the grid connection.
What can Click & Design do?
- design systems with Multi RS or MultiPlus-II
- simulate single-phase and three-phase configurations between 3 and 45 kVA
- manage priority and optional non-priority loads
- set up PV arrays in detail, including tilt and orientation
- allow and simulate export to the grid
- save, edit, and duplicate designs
- export a comprehensive PDF report
